Introduction:	Learn how to build and deploy portlet applications using Rational Application Developer V7.0 and WebSphere Portal V6.0. The class covers the concepts, architecture, components, and packaging involved in implementing a portal solution. Through numerous hands-on labs, students gain experience developing and testing portlet applications targeted for deployment on IBM WebSphere Portal V6.0. Students work with portal integration technologies such as portlet services, the portal credential vault, composite applications, personalization, cooperative portlets, and business process integration, and also work with the JSR 168 portlet specification and developed portlets using the development and testing facilities that are part of IBM Rational Application Developer V7.0.
