Introduction:   In this lab course, students, new to WebSphere Portal, will leverage some of the more advanced features of WebSphere Portal 6.1. Students create portlet services, AJAX, and Web 2.0 enabled portlets. They also build composite applications, implement the personalization features, and brand the portal. Students will use IBM® Rational Application Developer 7.5 in this course. Portlet Factory will not be used in this course.

  • Knowledge of portlet development equivalent to course WP611 IBM WebSphere Portal V6.1 Application Development 1
